Terms of Service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DeepWell, operated by Jackson Fedosa (“DeepWell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), available at deepwell.faith. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use DeepWell.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use DeepWell. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide at signup is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your login credentials with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at jackson@deepwell.faith.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are used for any unlawful purpose.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
Free tier
Creating an account is free. Free accounts include full access to the KJV Bible text, basic Strong’s Concordance word study, sample commentary entries where available (we are actively expanding this content), and one devotion series per calendar month (using your free monthly token). Free features may change over time.
Premium subscription
Premium access is available at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, billed in advance. Premium includes full word study access, complete personal commentary, and unlimited devotion series access, plus early access to new content drops.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with 30 days’ advance notice. Any price changes will apply to your next billing cycle, not the current one.
4. Billing and Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, per your selection) until you cancel.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. Stripe will send a payment receipt after each charge. We do not send a separate advance renewal reminder, so it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.
If a payment fails, we will make up to four retry attempts over several weeks. If payment cannot be collected, your account will revert to the free tier until a valid payment method is provided.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page by clicking “Manage Subscription.” Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain premium access until that date, and you will not be charged again.
Cancellation does not delete your account. Your reading history, devotion progress, and account settings are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time.
6. Refund Policy
All purchases are generally non-refundable. If you are charged in error or experience a billing issue, contact us within 7 days of the charge at jackson@deepwell.faith and we will review your case. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion.
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
7. Acceptable Use
When using DeepWell, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other user accounts, or our servers
- Scrape, copy, reproduce, or republish any content from DeepWell without prior written permission
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
- Attempt to reverse engineer any portion of the platform
8. Content and Intellectual Property
The KJV Bible text served by DeepWell is in the public domain. Commentary, devotion content, and other original material authored by DeepWell remain the intellectual property of DeepWell and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without permission.
Strong’s Concordance data is sourced from public-domain lexical resources. The DeepWell name, wordmark, and design are proprietary.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep DeepWell available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
DeepWell is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeepWell and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of DeepWell shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of DeepWell after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of significant changes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DeepWell shall be resolved in the courts of St. Charles County, Missouri.
